Rainy Weather June 24th

Just a quick update....we have only had minor sprinkles today for a few minutes here and there so, for now, swimming lessons are still on.  Unless we get high winds or thunderstorms, we will continue with lessons.  The pool is a balmy 90 and the kids are doing great.  Check back here right before your lessons if you're concerned about cancelling as we will be posting here if we need to cancel.  Thanks!

Summer 2013 Registration

Hello everyone! We are excited to begin another summer of swimming lessons.  It's hard to believe it's almost here!  The schedule for our summer 2013 classes is now posted.  Simply click on the "Schedule" tab to view it.

Registration begins Tuesday, April 9th, at 10:00 a.m.
Update: As of 11:19 last night every email I received on April 9th received a response.  Woo hoo!  If you did not receive a response, I did not get your email so please call me.  We are mostly full at this time but there are a few spots left so please check the schedule before requesting classes.  Thank you to all of our wonderful, loyal clients!

How to register:

1. View the schedule and decide which sessions and class times work best for you.  To determine which level you should enroll your student in, scroll ALL the way to the bottom of the class schedules to see a description of each level.

2. Beginning Tuesday, April 9th, at 10:00 a.m. EMAIL me your requests at cathyslilfish@gmailcom.  Please do not respond to an email I sent to you.  Please compose a new email with:

     a) the dates and times you'd like

     b) names and ages of your student(s) 

     c)  and a phone number where I can reach you.

3. I will send you a confirmation email letting you know that you got your classes.  If we are unable to meet your request, I will call you and email you to work something out. 

4. Once you have received your confirmation email, you can submit your payment. 

It may take up to a week to respond to everyone so please be patient :)  On Tuesday, April 9th (and probably the 10th) I will be unable to answer my phone due to the high volume of requests we receive, so please send me an email with your requests (and any questions you may have) and I will try to get back to you as quickly as possible.  It may be helpful to give me a 2nd choice or a range of choices (such as anytime between 10:00 and noon) in case your first choice is no longer available.

Summer 2013 Registration

I can't believe how much snow we're getting this winter!  Crazy!  But if you're like me, and already thinking about swimming lessons, here's the scoop on registering.  Because we are a seasonal business, we only offer lessons June - August.  Registration for summer 2013 will begin around the very end of March or the beginning of April.  If you'd like to receive an email notification about the exact details, email us at cathyslilfish@gmail.com and we'll be sure to let you know when registration is coming.  Or you can like our facebook page HERE, and we will be posting periodically about registration.  We will be re-vamping how the process works to avoid the mess that occurred last year and will let you know how that will work in advance.  Have a great winter!

Instructions for the Waiting List for Swimming Lessons

Thank you so much to all our returning and new clients this year.  We've had such a tremendous response that our swimming lessons are now full for the summer, despite adding several additional classes.  If you wish to be placed on a waiting list, please email us at cathyslilfish@gmail.com and include the following information:

1. Your name and phone number
2. Your child(ren) name(s) and age(s) and what level(s) they are.  To see a description of our levels, click on the "schedule" tab above and scroll all the way to the bottom.
3. Any limiting factors (i.e. "I can do any session except the 3rd one." or "I can only do classes after 4:00 p.m.")

We'll post both here and on facebook when we have cancellations and there's no one waiting for those spots on the waiting list. 1st day of swim weather problems

4:00 classes canceled due to thunder.  We hope that by 4:30 it will pass over.  Please check back.

UPDATE: By 4:10 it had all passed over.  We now have no wind and blue skies  Lessons are on for now.  Please check back if you experience bad weather in your area.  Thanks!

Lessons update

Classes from 9:00- 12:00 are cancelled for today.  The temperature is still in the 30's right now, so the makeup classes for Miss Cathy's classes will be this Friday at the same time.  Hopefully by noon, we can resume classes today since most of those were canceled yesterday.  If you have questions, call Cindy 713-8113.

Also remember to please be careful not to block our neighbor's dirt driveways (there are two).  Thanks so much.

Weather update

The wind is picking up and I'm worried that the beginner and intermediate students will be too cold to swim.  I think we better cancel the 12:30-3:00 classes!  Check back to see if the late afternoon will be held!

ALSO....our neighbor across the street said that several people parked in a way that blocked his 2 dirt driveways.  He needs to be able to pull large trucks and trailers through there because he has a landscaping business.  Please be very aware when you park across the street not to block the two large dirt driveways.  Thanks you!
UPDATE:  2:13 pm.  All classes cancelled for today!  The wind, rain and temperatures are combining to make it miserable.  Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
