We are a family-run swim business located in Boise, Idaho that has been serving families from all over the Treasure Valley for more than 15 years. We are passionate about educating children and adults of all ages about water safety, basic swimming skills, and stroke development in a safe, positive, encouraging, and FUN environment. We teach small classes in a warm, heated pool with excellent, motivated teachers who work very hard to ensure that children learn how to really SWIM!

Start of swim session postponed

It's raining, it's pouring....and the wind is blowing so we are postponing the start of our swim session until tomorrow, Tuesday, June 30. As outlined in an email sent last night, makeup lessons for today's classes will be held on Friday, July 10. Sorry for the inconvenience, but Mother Nature is not cooperating today and we would like especially the littlest fish to have a good first experience.Image may contain: 1 person, text and outdoor

New protocols due to CoVid19

For information about registration, please scroll down 1 post!

In light of the CoVid19 pandemic and in an effort to support social distancing, some of our policies will be different for the summer of 2020.
  1.  LIMITING ATTENDANCE: Only one adult and one car per family may come to swim lessons each day.  We know that the kids love being cheered on by parents, grandparents etc. but to help minimize parking problems and to keep the numbers on our property as low as possible we will allow only one adult per day.  Mom and Dad can switch off so that both can see the progress.
  2. SOCIAL DISTANCING: While waiting for your class to begin, please sit as families outside the pool area and maintain social distancing rules. When your class is called, please come inside the fence by way of gate number 1 and remain inside the gated pool area during your child’s lesson. We will have chairs grouped around the pool allowing for as much social distancing as possible.  Those leaving lessons should exit via gate 2.
If you have children in multiple levels, the family should stay together as a group either inside the pool fence or outside and avoid socializing in the yard.
  1. CLEANING & SANITATION: We will be doing additional cleaning of the porta potty to keep surfaces clean and the sunshine will help immensely too.  We will also have cleaning supplies on the table at the pool to wipe down and sanitize chairs between use.
  2. REFUNDS: Normally, refunds are only issued in case of severe illness (if they have to miss multiple days of the session) or death in the immediate family.  However, this year if you decide to cancel your lessons due to general concerns about CoVid19, you may receive a full refund if that cancellation takes place at least 72 hours before the start of your swim session.  If you suspect that you have been directly exposed to CoVid19 or you or any member of your family is exhibiting any of the following symptoms: fever, cough, shortness of breath, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), please DO NOT come to lessons and we will provide a refund.

Swim Lesson Registration 2020

Hello Little Fish!  Sorry for the delay with the schedule and registration this year.  A lot of things have been up in the air with this pandemic and resulting quarantine.  REGISTRATION FOR SWIM LESSONS WILL OPEN ON THURSDAY, MAY 14th AT 7:00 a.m. and will remain open until we have 250 families registered.  At that time we will temporarily close registration until we have processed those first 250 and then we will re-open registration a few days later :) We anticipate adding additional classes as the summer progresses as long as things continue to improve with the pandemic.  There will be some different protocols this year to encourage social distancing.  Here is how you register:

1. Click on "schedule" at the top of this page. Scroll ALL the way to the bottom to read a description of levels and determine which level you should register your child(ren) for.  Then look through the sessions and pick out the dates and times you would like. We highly recommend picking at least 2 - 3 options that would work for you and putting those down on the online registration form so that if we can't get you into your first choice, we can work you into your 2nd or 3rd choice! Or, better yet, just give us a window of time (i.e. please schedule me between 9 and noon this session)!

2. When registration opens, click on this link to take you to the registration form and fill it out.  It will ask for your name, phone number and email, your child(ren)'s name(s), age(s) and level(s) and which session(s) and time(s) you want.  There is a limit of two sessions per each child for the initial registration on April 18th.  Here is the link to register.  It will go live at 7 a.m. on May 14th!

3. When you click submit at the end, you will get a confirmation message letting you know that we've received your form.  All of the forms will be time stamped, and we will respond to requests in the order that they are received.  Please keep in mind that in past summers, we have received more than 200 forms in the first 3 minutes of registration so even if you register right at 7:00, it may take up to 48 hours to get back to you.

4.  After you register you will receive an email confirming your session(s) and class time(s), however your spot is NOT held until we receive payment.  Please do NOT send payment for the May 26th session until May 18th AT THE EARLIEST.  Please wait until June 1st to submit payment for the June 8th session and beyond.  This will minimize the risk of needing to issue refunds should another wave of the pandemic hit.  After submitting payment, if you do NOT receive an email confirming that we have received payment, please contact us to make sure that we have received payment or your spot will be given to someone else.  Your tuition is NOT refundable except in the case of extreme illness of the student.

Tuition will be $70 per student per 2 week session

We look forward to working with you this summer!

Hello Lil' Fish!  With the advent of COVID-19 and social distancing, we are unsure of when we will be able to open this year.  For this reason, we have decided to push back our registration.  For now, we are planning on posting our summer 2020 schedule on April 22nd and will most like do registration near Wednesday, May 6th. Check back here on the 22nd and we will hopefully have our schedule up and a confirmed registration day at that time.  Hope you are all staying safe, healthy and sane :)  Much love!  Cathy & Cindy

Swim Lesson Regisration Summer 2020

Hello Lil' Fish!  With this abnormally warm winter, I've been getting a lot of questions about when registration will open, so here's what you need to know:
1. We will post our schedule here on the website by April 1st.
2. At that time, we will also post when registration will be.  However, it is usually between April 18th and 24th so plan for around then :)
3. Take those few weeks between April 1 and registration day to figure out which class(es) you'd like.
4. On registration day, click on the link to our Google docs form and fill it out to register.

That's it!  We do fill very quickly, usually in 10 minutes or less.  However, we are usually able to help most of the families on our waiting list get into lessons throughout the summer:)  For a description of our class leves, sizes and teaching philosophy, please click on "Class Levels" above.
